French

Do you dream of going to a French-speaking country and getting by without a phrasebook?

Or have you attended lots of classes and courses but would like to improve your fluency?

Do you hear yourself saying, 'I can understand the language, but I can't speak it?'

Or would you like more opportunities to speak this lovely language?

If so, then these Zoom conversations sessions are perfect for you!

The Zoom breakout rooms facility means that you can chat confidently with one other person and then re-group where you can ask any questions. Conversation topics include ordering drinks and food, asking for directions, striking up a conversation, shopping in the chemists and buying in the market. Our sessions are so much fun that we can't call them classes or courses, but you'll learn so much and will be amazed by what you say. (ps, there is always a grammar focus too, for those who want it!)

We'll send you the conversations beforehand so you can gem up on the vocabulary using Quizlet. Then, in the session, the conversations are practiced to fluency using the crib sheets as much or as little as you want. Our tried and tested method is very effective, yet also fun and sociable... you'll find out when you give it a go! And don't forget, the first session is always free! Subsequent sessions cost £9 if pre-booked, or £12 Pay-After-You-Go.

Thank you! We will be in touch soon.

But don't just take our word for it...

Sarita said "My husband and I have eventually managed to get to France to stay on our boat. Well having spent a year on line doing conversation French and Grammar classes it certainly paid off. I felt so confident in my French, quite shocked myself. Easily being able to ask for meals, drinks and provisions at the supermarket. Knowing what to ask for to arrange a stopover at marinas , instructions for fuelling up etc and layouts of marinas and how to use showers.

Then arranging covid tests, which hadn’t gone smoothly in my case, really stretched me but I stayed focused and managed to use alternative phrases when necessary to organise tests and locations. I want to thank all at Livelylanguages for all the help and support you continuously give. Learning French is so much great fun,  and meeting some great people along the way such a bonus."
